About FICTA 2022

After the grand success of past nine editions of FICTA Conference with Springer Nature as publication partner, it is a matter of pleasure and pride to announce the Tenth edition of International Conference on Frontiers of Intelligent Computing: Theory and Applications, FICTA 2022 , the decennial edition of this conference is being jointly organized by National Institute of Technology Mizoram, during June 18-19, 2022.

The 2022 International Conference on Frontiers of Intelligent Computing:

Theory and Applications (FICTA) aims to bring together researchers, scientists, engineers, students and practitioners to exchange and share their theories, methodologies, new ideas, experiences, application in all areas of intelligent computing theories, methodologies and its applications. The theme of the FICTA conference series focuses on the domain of intelligent computing theories and the application to Computer and Management sciences. All accepted and registered papers under this conference will be published in Springer-Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies (SIST) Series (approved). Now indexed by SCOPUS, EI Compendex, INSPEC, WTI Frankfurt eG, zbMATH, Japanese Science and Technology Agency (JST), SCImago, DBLP. All books published in the series are submitted for consideration in the Web of Science.

About NIT Mizoram

The Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India vide its order no. F. 23-13-2009-TS-III Dated 30th of Oct. 2009 and 3rd March 2010, had decided to set up ten new NITs. In view of the above National Institute of Technology (NIT) Mizoram was started in the year 2010 in the state of Mizoram with an objective to impart education, research & training leading to B.Tech, M.Tech & PhD. degrees. This institute has been declared as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament. Here the students are admitted through All India Entrance Exam- Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main). The Institute has five engineering branches – Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. In order to support these engineering branches, there is the department of Basic Sciences & Humanities.

NIT Mizoram is an Institute situated in the scenic beauty of Mizoram, wrapped between clouds and mountain rocks, which adds to its beauty. Being amongst the most educated states of our country with a literacy rate of 91%, it beholds a very peaceful and calm environment suitable for studies. The Institute, to cope with the present competitive needs, comprises of laboratories with the latest equipment and installed with best and latest softwares which facilitate in pursuing both academic and research objectives. Each department has its own smart classroom and the institute has a full-fledged central library with myriad of text and reference books and e-books. The institute has an Innovation cell and it fosters an environment of Industry-Institute collaboration wherein students are encouraged and supported to undergo multiple internships/trainings in various industries relevant to their disciplines and also aligned to the present job market of India.
